In this video, I cover the basic energetic breakdown of how the macrocosm of eclipse energetics are represented in the microcosm of ourselves.
The planetary bodies (the sun and moon are not planets, but are considered the same at the level of their effect on us due to proximity to the Earth) are giant energetic fields, which affect us. This is why we can leverage the effects of daily circadian rhythms, and monthly moon phase cycles by customizing our self care and emotional priorities. The same is true of eclipses.
In medical astrology, we look to the patterns of the shifts they create, to understand the effects we may feel during their patterned movements. During Eclipses in Vedic sciences, Rahu and Ketu (the N and S nodes) are activated. Depicted as the head of the snake, Rahu can lead to poor choices and interactions for our health. Ketu on the other hand is helpful for disconnecting from daily life, detaching, and connecting with the divine.
I briefly discuss both lunar and solar eclipses and my suggestions for how to support your personal growth during these patterns. Here is my guide to Eclipse Self Care from my IG post.
